Imaginary Boundaries

The boundaries are imaginary. The rules are made up, the limits don’t exist.

Life your life to the fullest. Do not be limited by the boundaries of society.  “And it harm none, do what you will”. There are very few literal limits in life, and a lot of cultural and societal limits. Be sure that you understand what kinds of limits are really holding you back from where you want to be in life. Don’t sit around and wait for something to happen. Make it happen for yourself.

Be offended where it matters!

We let so much offend us, hurt our feelings, and affect our lives, but never the right stuff. There is so much that should, but doesn’t because we waste too much time and effort on the rest of the bs. The important stuff matters, the rest is just excuses not to truly care and do something.  And we are all guilty at one point or another.

A Field of Dandelions

When you look at a field of Dandelions,  you can either see a hundred weeds, or a thousand wishes.

Life is what you make of it. You can live in a depressed state and only see a field of problems and going nowhere fast. Or you can do the opposite and see an endless amount of opportunities that you can maximize for your life.  If you fail at one opportunity,  then look further down the field for the next opportunity that is waiting for you to maximize it.

This is actually a good reminder for me and what I am going through in my personal life. I had a long term plan that I put everything in to for two years, then things out of my control happened and now I’m floating around aimlessly feeling like the ultimate failure.  I need to look hard at the field and find my next dandelion and make new plans for a new life. Divorce and losing my school funding isn’t the end of the world afterall.
